Ambassadors International Ministries has been given the opportunity to participate in a matching grant to purchase a much needed van for transporting the children at The Pines Christian Care Center in Welkom, South Africa.
The purpose of The Pines Christian Care Center is to care for children that have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. An anonymous donor has pledged to match each gift contributed to Ambassadors for the van up to $7,000 (half the remaining balance). This means when you donate a particular dollar amount, the donor will contribute an identical amount. For example, if you give a $250.00 donation, the donor will give a $250.00 donation and Ambassadors would then receive $500.00 towards the purchase of the van.
This project will be available for your participation beginning August 1, 2007 and ending on January 1, 2008, or sooner if the goal of $13,500 is met. Only those funds that are designated for the purchase of the van will be used for this matching gift project.
Ambassadors International Ministries is very thankful for this wonderful opportunity that the Lord has provided us. We are thrusting the Lord to open the hearts of many people to join with us in this worthy endeavor. With your participation we can accomplish this necessary goal for God’s glory. Thank you for your prayers that bring hope and help with ministry needs. Thank you for your consideration in giving to this project.
Please designate van fund in the memo line when making your gift payable to Ambassadors International Ministries. As always, all donations are tax deductible.

Dear David and Sally,
I feel like I know you because I have called on a number of ocassions and always have had wonderful conversations.
I am letting you know that I am asking my immediate family to respond to the matching funds offer for a van at the Pines. I was a team member in March from Point of Grace in Waukee and I’ve never been quite the same since. I am currently sponsoring one child at the Pines.
I am praying that David’s health is improving and I am happy to know that some of the administrative duties have been transfered through the restructuring process that Ambassadors recently underwent.
I hope and pray that many of my family members will respond to this challenge.
Sincerely, Martha Cole
