As President of Ambassadors International Ministries I would like to welcome you to our web site. Ambassadors was born out of compassion for the suffering children and communities in Africa and around the world because of the spread of HIV/AIDS.
It is a fact that the HIV/AIDS epidemic moving through Africa is unlike any other plague the world has ever seen. Millions of Africans have already died, millions more are already infected with the virus and will die within a decade. Millions more will die in the decades to come. Most epidemics decimate a population with frightening speed, but this one travels in slow motion. It hides in its victims for years and all the while it is spreading. This epidemic is worse than most because it is such a silent killer which brings with it economic devastation. It does not attack the weak, the young and the elderly but it is taking the most productive people in Africa – among them, the parents of young children.
It is our desire that during your visit to our website that you come to a better understanding of what HIV/AIDS is doing to the continent of Africa and around the world and what we as a compassion ministry are endeavoring to do to help. We believe that through Ambassadors compassionate outreach our Lord can make a difference in many lives in Africa and globally.
