Ambassadors International Ministries, Inc. (hereafter “AIMI”) is committed to maintaining your trust and confidence. The following online privacy policy is intended to protect and secure the personally identifiable information you provide to our ministry online.
Information We Collect
There are two different ways in which we collect information from visitors on our web site:
- from online requests for information (e-mail list subscription forms, contact forms, etc.);
- anonymous (non-personally identifiable) information from web server logging (IP address, web browser, etc.).
The information we collect online may include name, address, city, state, ZIP/postal code, and e-mail address. Online forms will also return your IP address, which will only be used in the case of abusive use of such forms. Other specific information about you or your interests may be collected in order to respond to your correspondence or fulfill other requests. This information is used to respond appropriately to those requests and is not stored or used for any other purpose. AIMI will not send you e-mail that you have not agreed to receive. In any and all group mailings, instructions for removal will be included in the message footer.
No Sharing of Personal Information
AIMI never sells, rents, leases or exchanges your personal information with other organizations. We assure you that the identity of all who contact us through this web site will be kept confidential.
Cookies
The AIMI web site uses “cookies” (small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive) to identify you as a first-time or return visitor only in the event that you voluntarily submit to user registration features. We do not use cookies to track your movements through our web site, or for any other purpose except to provide you with features you have requested.
Children Online Policy
We are concerned about the privacy of young children and do not knowingly collect any personal information from a child under 13. We encourage you to become involved with your child’s access to the Internet and to our site in order to ensure that his or her privacy and safety is well protected.
Links to Outside Sites
This web site links to documents located on web sites maintained by other organizations or individuals. AIMI is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these external web sites.
Removal from Mailing Lists
If you choose to subscribe to an e-mail or postal mailing list during your visit to the AIMI web site, or are inadvertently subscribed by another person, you can choose to unsubscribe at any time either by following the instructions in the footer of each mailing list message, or by contacting us at the above e-mail address or postal address. As all lists are strictly “opt-in,” you will not be subscribed to any list without your express permission.
Updates to this Policy
From time to time, we may use visitor submitted information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.
